Canada must suspend COVID measures or face massive shutdown and civil disobedience; Mask burnings, arrests and occupations to commence October 1
In the wake of the outlawing of COVID measures on September 8 by the National Council of Common Law Assemblies (NCCLA), the Canadian government was today given an ultimatum by the Council to suspend all of these now-illegal measures by September 30 or face a nation-wide Non-Cooperation movement that will paralyze the country.
“We’re talking strikes, sit-ins, and seizures of public buildings” said NCCLA Secretary Martin Beresford today.
“The so-called Health officials who are single handedly running our police state will face summary arrest by our Sheriffs for committing crimes against the health and liberty of the people. And we’re going to start publicly burning our masks this Monday.”
According to the NCCLA, citizens in nearly one hundred Canadian communities have organized in their own Assemblies to enforce the September 8 law that bans all COVID measures across Canada and allows the arrest of anyone who enforces the measures. These citizens will engage in a massive and ongoing civil disobedience campaign starting October 1.
To mark the commencement of this resistance, public mask burnings will begin outside government offices. Canadians will refuse to pay taxes or obey laws not authorized by their own local Common Law Assemblies.
"This is the next stage in our political and spiritual independence from corporate tyranny" said Republic Co-Convener Kevin Annett. "We are reclaiming power from a criminal regime and placing it in the hands of all the people."

National Law Strikes Down COVID Measures, Empowers Citizens to Resist; Officials Ordered to Stand Down or be Prosecuted in Common Law Courts
Canada:
A Law was passed today by a council of citizens’ assemblies that struck down and criminalized all COVID measures requiring masking, distancing, quarantining, and vaccines.
Under the new Public Safety Law NCCLA Order No. 09082020-A, any attempt to impose such measures on Canadians is considered a punishable crime and can result in the arrest and trial of the offender, regardless of their office. Canadians are encouraged to actively resist COVID measures, relying on the new law and local Common Law Sheriffs.
The law was issued by the National Council of Common Law Assemblies (NCCLA), which unites more than forty such Assemblies across Canada within the jurisdiction of the Republic of Kanata. The NCCLA also issued a Stand Down Order to all government, police and health officials that requires that they not enforce COVID measures and comply with the new law.
Copies of the NCCLA documents are attached to this release and are posted at www.republicofkatana.org under “Media”.
“The Council is far more democratic and representative of the will of Canadians than is Parliament or the courts, which are not only closed but have handed over their power to a handful of unaccountable bureaucrats” said Kevin Annett, a co-convener of the NCCLA.
“In the absence of responsible government, we the people are defending ourselves from a corporate police state. It is now up to every Canadian to enforce this Law and use it to defend their children and their liberties and overturn this tyranny while they still can.”

Attacks on Common Law Assemblies in Canada to be investigated by Human Rights Observers and Peacekeepers – West Coast Common Law Court to issue indictments against members of an ongoing criminal conspiracy
Nanaimo, British Columbia:
A team of international human rights Observers and Peacekeepers will arrive in Nanaimo tomorrow to investigate recent attacks and death threats made against Kevin Annett and others in the Common Law Assemblies that have banned COVID regulations.
The Observers and Peacekeepers will have diplomatically protected status and the power to arrest and lay criminal charges, and to convene a Common Law Court. The Court will issue Summonses and Arrest Warrants against individuals engaged in destroying the Assemblies and in conducting deliberate attacks and “black-ops” methods against Kevin Annett and others.
The team was invited to Vancouver Island yesterday by Kevin Annett in a letter he wrote to the International Common Law Court of Justice. The letter reads in part,
“A classic black operation of misinformation and ‘bad jacketing’ by at least three operatives is being conducted against and is destroying the Parksville and Cowichan Common Law Assemblies. These attacks began immediately after the Parksville Assembly issued its Public Bylaw on August 24 that banned all COVID measures. The same Assembly had also just issued a Public Summons against local participants in a west coast child trafficking operation … Death threats have been issued against me, and our best activists are being forced out of the Assemblies by a clique who are working with the operatives. Without immediate protection and support, we will be unable to prevent these attacks from destroying everything the Assemblies are building.”
The enormous response to the outlawing of COVID restrictions by the west coast Assemblies has caused people in 94 Canadian communities and in six other countries to form Common Law Assemblies and issue similar local bylaws.
A National Council of Common Law Assemblies (NCCLA) is coordinating these efforts and is preparing to convene a national Congress to ratify a Constitution for the new Republic of Kanata.

Citizens issue Stand Down Order to local authorities after nullifying and outlawing COVID regulations
Parksville and Victoria, B.C. –
In an historic act of direct democracy, Peoples’ Assemblies on Vancouver Island have called upon civil and police authorities to stand down from enforcing COVID regulations or be charged with partaking in a “criminal conspiracy against the liberty and health of the people.”
Earlier this week, the same Assemblies defied COVID regulations by issuing a Public Safety Bylaw that outlaws social distancing, quarantining, masking, and mandatory vaccinations as “unhealthy, unlawful and unwarranted”.
Under this law, anyone who tries to impose COVID regulations can face fines and imprisonment within Common Law Courts established by the Assemblies.
These Bylaws and Orders were issued by the Oceanside Common Law Assembly (OCLA) of Parksville and the Greater Victoria Common Law Assembly, which were formed by local citizens over past several months.
Members of both Assemblies plan to serve the Stand Down Orders to their respective police and city officials including the Mayors of Parksville and Victoria at upcoming public actions which will be globally televised.
“We’ve drawn a line and told the government that enough is enough” said John St. John, a founder of OCLA.
“When the system becomes lawless it’s up to the people to re-establish justice. We’re calling on the police to enforce this bylaw or we will.”
Fiona Yaki of the Victoria Assembly reiterated his sentiment.
“We’ve made history by putting power back in the hands of the people. We call on all Canadians to use that power by forming their own Common Law Assemblies and reclaiming our nation”.
News of these actions have spread like wildfire through Canada and around the world, prompting Canadians in over ninety communities to take similar measures to resist the COVID restrictions and tyranny. This resistance is being coordinated and led by a National Council of Common Law Assemblies, whose aim is to establish a sovereign Republic across Canada.

COVID restrictions and mandatory vaccinations are outlawed and nullified by Common Law Assembly; Citizens are encouraged to resist police state measures as officials are threatened with fines and imprisonment
Parksville, British Columbia (Republic News Service)
In an historic act of direct democracy last night, the Oceanside Common Law Assembly (OCLA) passed a Public Safety Bylaw that prohibits COVID restrictions and mandatory distancing, masking, quarantines, and vaccinations anywhere in the communities of Parksville and Qualicum Beach on Canada’s west coast.
As of today, anyone who tries to impose COVID regulations on the people of these communities can face fines and imprisonments by OCLA and its Common Law Court.
Citing International law, the Assembly Bylaw states that these COVID regulations “are unlawful, unwarranted and medically unsound measures that threaten and assault the fundamental liberties, health and security of the people of our community … Therefore it is ordered that no-one is obligated to consent to or comply with any of these regulations … and anyone is free to actively resist and disobey such regulations and measures by any means necessary without fear of legal consequence.”
The Bylaw concludes by accusing anyone who tries to impose COVID regulations on the community as being part of a criminal conspiracy and threatens them with “penalties and imprisonment upon conviction by the Common Law Court of Parksville … All police authorities are expected and compelled by law to enforce this Bylaw or be charged with obstructing justice and democratic process.”
A copy of the complete Bylaw follows.
In the words of one of the authors of the Bylaw,
“We made history tonight by putting power back in the hands of the people. This is our answer to the police state and the COVID scam. We call on people everywhere to take the same step through their own Common Law Assemblies and Courts”.
Since 2015, more than forty Common Law Assemblies have formed across Canada, many of them under the jurisdiction of the Republic of Kanata. The Assemblies have become the front-line defense of Canadians who are resisting the corporate police state.
